         The Web is a treasure trove of resources for teachers!  The following is a list of some of the best sites that contain lesson plans and activities to use with middle school math students.            

 

Ask ERIC Mathematics Lesson Plans – These lesson plans are organized by topic, and grade levels are listed within lesson descriptions.

edHelper.com – Hundreds of games and lesson plans are available by topic at this site.  Descriptions of lessons do not always include grade levels; user must open the lesson to determine age appropriateness.

LessonPlansPage.com – These lesson plans are written for students in sixth and seventh grade.  They are listed by math topic/concept.  A brief description is given for each lesson.

Mathematics Lesson Plans – The Columbia Education Center collected these lessons that were created by teachers for use in their own classrooms.  The lessons are categorized by level:  Elementary (K-5), Intermediate (6-8), and High School (9-12).  A brief description of the topic covered in each lesson is given.
