Introduction
Have you ever wondered what religions were around before Judaism, Christianity, and Islam?  Many cultures had gods and goddesses.  Each would represent a different aspect of life such as love, power, and death.  Now, we refer to these gods and goddesses as mythological beings.  It's important to understand that to the ancient Greeks and Romans, this was there religion.  It is also very important to understand what the gods and goddesses meant to the people of Greece and Rome. The Greeks and the Romans had the same types of gods and goddesses just with different names.

In this activity, you will read and find the correlations of Greek and Roman gods.


Activity
It's important to realize the similarities between two regions.  While examining mythology, we can see the similarities between the two countries.  Compare these two sites about mythology of Greece and Rome.  Make a list of the corresponding gods and goddesses with their specialty and the Greek and Roman counterpart.
