WHAT
A WONDERFUL WORLD!
In
our geography unit, we have been discussing many places around the world and
using our new vocabulary words to describe these places. Today you and your partner are going to have
the chance to explore two countries on your own!
STEPS FOR
EXPLORATION: 
1- Think about 2 DIFFERENT places that you would like to
visit. Write their names on the top of
the chart you have been given.
2- Visit the CIA Fact Book webpage. Once there, click on “Select Country or
Location” and select your first country.
3- Fill in the required information on your chart and write down
any other facts you find useful or interesting.
4- Click on “Select Country or Location” again and choose your
second country.
5- Fill out the chart for country two.
NOW WHAT?!?!
You and your partner are now experts in the class on that
country. You will need to come up with a
creative way to teach the information that you learned to the class. Be sure to explain the similarities and
differences between the countries and do not forget to include a map, so the
class knows where your countries are located!!
