Citing Internet Resources
1. I would choose the Skilman and Kirby Library website to send students to for information about how to correctly cite electronic sources. One reason I chose this site is because it first offers a list of the items a student would need to correctly cite a resource with any of the styles. All three of the different styles of citing resources have each of these five elements in them. I feel that it is important for them to know what to look for when citing articles. Another reason I chose this site was because it offers three different ways to cite articles. Even though I may be requiring them to cite an article using the MLA style, it will benefit them to be acquainted with the other styles in case they are later required to use them. Having a site that can offer a variety of styles will give them a resource to use later in their education if they need it. This site gives a good overview of the things students should look for when citing electronic sources and it also gives them examples of a citation in different formats.
