Introduction -  Mark Twain is one of America’s greatest writers of fiction.  Today you will learn a little about his life and some of the famous books he wrote. 

Information -  You need to read a biography on Mark Twain by checking out an article from Worldbook Online.  You will then learn more about his life and his work by reading his scrapbook.  You may pick and chose which parts of his life seem interesting to you, but you must pick at least 3 chapters of his life.         

Activity – Now that you have learned as much as you could about Samuel Clemens (you better know that is his real name by now!) you must choose an activity to complete.  By going to the link classroom activities you will make your choice out of 5 possibilities.  These 5 activities are on your left.  Read all 5 choices before making your decision.  Choose the one that best fits you.  Take your time.  You will have plenty of class time to complete this assignment.  Be creative!
