TEACHERS.NET – This site has a wealth of lesson plans.  It has a “bank” of plans that you can search, submit, browse, and request for every subject and every grade K-12.  A useful tool that this site has is a chat room so you can communicate with other teachers.  You can share your ideas, ask questions, and discuss topics of your choice with other educators.  Date visited – 10/19/03 http://teachers.net/lessons/

 

ED HELPER – This is a multi-useful site.  Not only does it provide lesson plans on every subject for every grade, it has many other resources.  It supplies its visitors with lesson plans, web quests, worksheets, test materials, and thematic units.  All of this is provided to the non-members.  To join the site, it is only $19.99 a year.  This sure beats spending all that money at the teacher store.  Date visited – 10/19/03 http://www.edhelper.com/

 

DISCOVERY CHANNEL – Not only does this site provide lesson plans for every subject and grade level, but it also supplies you with many more resources.  You will find supplements to the lesson such as Discovery Channel’s TV schedule.  You can add this into your lesson.  There’s a teacher store.  You can shop on-line to personalize your lesson plan with videos, books, or worksheets, and to build your classroom library.  Links to homework helpers, clipart, other worksheets, and many more helpful sites are available at the Discovery Channel website.  Date visited – 10/19/03 http://school.discovery.com/lessonplans/
