Stamp Tax

We learned about cause and effect in many text that we read, fiction or non-fiction.  As the case may be, this also holds true for the Revolutionary war.  There were many stipulations and rules (Acts) that were placed on the colonists by King George III.  Because some colonists did not obey the rules, this ultimately led to the war.  Click on the links provided to gather information about two of the most important and controversial Acts that were passed.  After you read about the Acts, compare the information that you find, and describe their purpose.  Finally complete the chart by describing why the Act was passed (cause) and what the result was (effect).
