OBJECTIVE

and use search engines to find the information that they seek. |
INTRODUCTION |
During the course of the school year, we have
learned about many interesting topics in all subject areas. Sometimes you will be required to find out
more information about a specific topic and what better place to go than the
internet! The search engine where you
will always begin when looking for the information you seek! |

ASSIGNMENT |
1. Open
up a new document in MS Word. 2. Create
a 3 column by 6 row table. 3. Title
the columns “PROS” and “CONS” 4. Fill
in the rows with the names of the search engine sites. 5. Visit
each site, look around, and do a trial search for “Native Americans.” 6. Fill
out your table with the things that you like about each search engine site
(PROS) and things that you do not like (CONS). 7. After
completing the table, review your notes and decide which search engine site
you like the best. 8. Underneath
your table, write a paragraph recommendation to a friend about which site
they should use and why. |
