Lesson Plans (Elective)

Why reinvent the wheel?  Before spending precious time developing elaborate lesson plans for your teaching, visit the following sites to see if you can use a lesson plan that has already been posted!  Happy hunting ~

·        LessonPlansPage.com – This is a VERY comprehensive site that includes well over 2,000 lesson plans for all subject areas and all grade levels.  Access to the individual lessons is very simple – Select the desired subject from the home page and then select the grade level.  Lesson plans are then grouped according to concept or title.  http://www.lessonplanspage.com/index.html

·        Ask Eric Lesson Plans – This also contains 2,000+ lesson plans in all grade levels and subject areas.  In addition to the many lesson plans, there are links to over 25,000 education websites from the U.S. and countries all over the world.  http://www.askeric.org/Virtual/Lessons/

·        Discovery School - Find hundreds of original lesson plans, all written by teachers for teachers. Use the pull-down menus below to browse by subject, grade, or both.  http://school.discovery.com/lessonplans/

·        Teachers.Net - The Teachers.Net Lesson Bank allows you to easily share your lesson plans as well as use lesson plans developed by other teachers from all over the country.  http://teachers.net/lessons/

·        LessonPlanz.com - is searchable directory of free online lesson plans and lesson plan resources for all grades and subjects.  LessonPlanz.com was designed to provide an easier way for teachers to find online lessons and teaching resources.  By eliminating search results that aren't relevant to teachers, it will also save time.  http://lessonplanz.com/
