Introduction	After the student completes this web dropin, he/she will be able to compare the three regions of Maryland on a Venn Diagram.
Information	Students will access Maryland websites to analyze the geographic characteristics of the three regions of Maryland: http://www.mdkidspage.org/ On this site you must click on “Geography” and then “Maps”.
Definition	The three regions of Maryland are the Coastal Plain, the Piedmont Plateau, and the Appalachian Mountains.
Activity	1. Click on the website link above and follow the directions listed under the link. 2. Study the maps that are displayed on the page. 3. Open this link to a table/chart to complete. 4. Use the information given on the website to complete as much of the chart as possible
