Need help writing lesson plans, or do you just need ideas for some great lessons?  Here are some of the best sites I found for lesson plans.

It has so much to offer for teachers of literacy.  This site provides you with a variety of lesson plans in Language Arts.  You can select lesson plans by title, or grade.  You can save time by using the Lesson Plan Index.  Titles are given with a summary for each lesson.  When you click on the lessons, suggested teaching times are given and IRA/NCTE Standards are listed.  http://www.readwritethink.org/lessons/index.asp
