Games Online

The gaming site that I chose was http://games.yahoo.com and the game I chose to play was called “Noah’s Ark”.

The object of this game was to remove all the animals from the game board by matching them up in pairs.  To link two animals together, you had to select one animal by clicking it with your mouse and then clicking on a second animal of that exact same type.  You had to do this while you had a clear view of the water rising closer and closer to the ark.  The pressure to save as many animals as possible was very intense.  The animals that you paired together must have a clear path to each other.  You also had the option of clicking on the first animal and dragging it directly to the second animal that you selected.  This part of the game made it a little easier to compete if you selected pairs of the same kind of animal, one after another you could earn combination bonuses and lower the water level.  My first two attempts at mastering this game were more like learning experiences rather than competitive games.  After becoming better acquainted with the game-play, I started to develop some strategies and techniques to help elevate my bonus points and overall score.  By the time I had played my fifth game, I had reached level 6 and earned over 10,000 points.  This game became almost addictive at this point.  I knew I could reach a higher score and higher level if I continued to play.  I probably played Noah’s Ark for about an hour.  The more I played the better I got and I really had a great time playing this simple yet very entertaining online game.  I’ll go back to this site to play this game again very soon!
