JACK REID SCHOLARSHIP FUND: In memory of longtime volunteer Jack Reid, The MD/DE/WV SCBWI offers two scholarships (to a writer and illustrator) to attend a summer conference. Writers wishing to apply should send up to 10 pages of a work for children. Illustrators should send 3 or more photocopied selections of their work. A cover letter should accompany all entries, addressed to Shelley Sykes, P.O. Box 70, Arendtsville, PA 17303. Entries should be postmarked by June 01.
