The California School of Organizational Studies (CSOS) at Alliant International University (AIU; http://www.alliant.edu) invites applications for the position of Program Director (academic rank open) at our San Diego campus.

CSOS is the largest accredited educator of doctoral and masters-level professionals in I-O Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Consulting Psychology, and Organizational Development on the U.S. West Coast with campuses in Fresno, Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento, and San Francisco. The San Diego campus prepares scholar-practitioners in I-O Psychology and Consulting Psychology by integrating theory, research, and practice through course work, field placement experience, research, and mentoring.

The Program Director at CSOS-San Diego, who is also a core faculty member, serves full-time and year-round, and is expected to engage in program administration and development in close cooperation with the programs at the other CSOS campuses and the AIU programs in clinical psychology and business administration. Under the supervision/direction of the CSOS dean, the Program Director is central to academic planning, to faculty recruitment, retention, and development, and to budget management and oversight, as well as to the quality of the students’ academic experiences. The Program Director is an integral part of the school/college’s leadership team and works closely with the dean in fostering a learning community infused with vitality for all constituencies. The position is open to candidates with demonstrated skills in academic administration and leadership as well as extensive professional and scholarly expertise in any area of Industrial-Organizational Psychology or Consulting Psychology. Candidates with international and multicultural competencies are particularly encouraged to apply.
