A majority of ResNet lost service all day today. Due to the connection of a router for a home network in a residence hall room, configuration traffic was being redirected to the home router instead of McDaniel College's proper routers. This led to failure to connect to the Internet for about one half of our ResNet users. PLEASE... It is IMPORTANT that you do NOT connect network gear not approved or supplied by Information Technology to the network.
