Information Sheet with Instructions for
Presenters/ Assistants and Teachers
Please consider the following:
- There will be a folder for you in the foyer of Baker Memorial Chapel. Please
sign in as a teacher/ presenter and look at the folder during the opening
session.

There will be a light continental breakfast for all presenters, teachers, chaperones and assistants in the basement of Baker Memorial
Chapel. Breakfast will be available at 8 a.m.

There is a campus map and a list of all workshops and rooms attached to the program included
in your folder.

A student assistant is assigned to all workshops. The student will help
you with logistics. The name of the student is located on the front cover of
your folder.

Pick up the participants in your workshop after the opening
session (at 10 a.m.) outside of Baker Memorial Chapel.

Let the assistant introduce you and her- or himself and ask the
students to introduce themselves
(if you have a small group).

Take attendance with the typed participant list.

If any student in your workshop is not on the list, he/she
probably has registered for another workshop. IÕll be available in Baker
Memorial Chapel until 10:30. Ask these students to see me there.

Very Important: This year weÕll have 2 lunch shifts, one that starts at
11 a.m. for the 60-minutes workshops 1-12, and one that starts at 12 noon for
the 75-90 minutes workshops A-L. Students in group 1 (workshops 1-12) will have green lunch tickets. They should go to
lunch at 11 a.m. and must come back to Alumni Hall after they are finished
with lunch to watch some recent German music videos. The other students from
group 2 (workshops A-L) will have yellow lunch tickets. They should go to lunch no later than
11:45 a.m. These students must return to Alumni Hall after lunch for the second
half of the program.

Please dismiss those students with green lunch tickets no
later than 11 a.m., and those with yellow tickets no later than 11:45 a.m. This
ensures less congestion at lunch. However, if you, the presenters in GROUP
2, are finished earlier, please keep the students with yellow tickets in the
classroom until close to 11:45 a.m.

A lunch ticket for you is included in your folder.

Very important! Don't let the students leave the workshop except to use the
restrooms. In the past, some students left their workshops and went to play
pool or hang around campus. The teachers have requested that we keep the
students in the workshops the entire time.

Please report any student who causes any damage to college
property.

Your German-American Day T-shirt is included in this package.
