Objective:  This activity will allow students to gain more information about American Immigration, including what groups immigrated to the United States and why they immigrated to the United States.  Also, students will take a closer look at the history of Irish immigration to the United States.

Overview:  Throughout the 19th century many different groups came to the United States in search of jobs, better opportunity, and a better life.  By clicking on the link below, you will find more information on immigration to America.  After you take a look at this website, read over the questions listed below.  In order to answer these questions, you will need to visit the other links within this website.
