Call For Papers for the Annual ISA Conference

Call for Papers The International Studies Association (ISA) will hold their 2002 annual conference in New Orleans, March 24-28, 2002 (tentative). The ISA Peace Studies Section is calling for the submission of panels and paper proposals on the theme of peace and conflict studies, broadly defined.

• Deadline for submission to the ISA conference program directors is June 1, 2001.

The Peace Studies Section is particularly interested in, and soliciting panels and proposals on:

(1) newly emerging norms of conflict prevention, peaceful change, and humanitairan intervention;
(2) the role of art and visual media in conflict resolution, peacebuilding and reconciliation; and
(3) reconciliation and post-conflict peacebuilding processes.
