The Madrigal Singers are the premier vocal ensemble from McDaniel College. They are selected from the membership of the College Choir. They perform exclusively unaccompanied vocal music, primarily Renaissance Madrigals, but also including a good variety of world music as well. They have performed in several states at conferences of several professional organizations, including the College Music Society, and the Maryland Music Educators. In the past several years, they have performed at the Hartt School of Music, at a special presentation for the Discovery Channel at the MCI center, and twice at the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. They sang in the Grand Foyer series at the Kennedy Center in the early 1990's and are currently on the select artist list for the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage Concerts.
