The CAEE is an organization comprised of professional
economists who teach at colleges and universities within a 75 mile radius
of greater Baltimore.
The goals of the CAEE include:

promotion of effective teaching of collegiate economics
through the exchange of ideas and sharing of information

encouraging and assisting members in developing and
maintaining their proficiencies as professional economists

promotion of collegial relations among its members
Activities of the CAEE include three annual dinner
meetings accompanied by a social hour and a formal talk on a subject of
interest to the membership by a recognized scholar or expert in the field.
Participants
in these dinners come from Maryland, the District of Columbia, Delaware
and Pennsylvania. Speakers are drawn
from the academic/policy community in the Maryland/Washington, D.C. area.
