Some
Helpful Internet Resources for Writing...
http://www.bedfordstmartins.com/hacker/writersref/ This is the homepage for Diane Hacker's A Writer's Reference and is almost as good as the book. Make sure you browse the list of online resources. The site even offers practice exercises that you might find helpful. My favorite section is the one on Documentation. Want to know how to cite a particular source? Have a look at this! http://owl.english.purdue.edu/ The Purdue University Online Writing Lab is one of the most impressive sites out there. Check out the section on "Handouts and Materials" for a very comprehensive list. http://www.fas.harvard.edu/~wricntr/html/tools.htm The Harvard Writing Center online has an impressive amount of worksheets and writing tips all easy to find. This is the Modern Language Association online. See the section on "MLA style" for helpful writing hints. http://iwca.syr.edu/IWCA/IWCAOWLS.html This site is a list of Writing Centers on the web. Most centers have
really impressive WebPages with lots of resources. Some even offer online
tutoring! |
