If you're looking for a good place to start planning or researching a
paper, Hoover library should be your first stop. Make a special note of
the research station and the hours of the research librarian. They're
a great help! Also be sure to check out the journal database. This is
a great place to find recent scholarly articles on almost any topic.

The English Department
Interested in studying writing? Perhaps just taking a course in grammar
or maybe literature? All students are required to take as a Basic Liberal
Arts Requirement (BLAR) two introductory English courses and pass the

The Phoenix
If you're interested in news and journalism, the Phoenix, the school newspaper,
is always looking for reporters, editors, or organizers. This bi-monthly

Contrast
The College literary magazine is a great place to get recognition for
your work. Contrast is composed of poetry, short stories, photography,
and artwork. They feature submissions from students, faculty, and staff.
