Iota Tau Induction
Spring 2004
Lamba
Iota Tau, or LIT, is the international honor society for literary
studies, the McDaniel College chapter, “Delta Omicrom,”
was formed in 1976.
Like membership
in all honor societies, one is invited to join LIT based on a variety
of criteria:
-
be
of junior or senior standing, with a major or minor in literature
(5th semester of college),
-
have completed at least 4 literature courses (not necessarily in
English),
-
have an average g.p.a. of 3.0 in those literature courses,
-
be in the upper 35% of one's class.
Inductees
of LIT must also publicly present an original work—be it scholarly
or creative.
Clicking
on each students picture or name will direct you to an excerpt of
their work.
