Award for Excellence in Chemistry or Biochemistry

The Award for Excellence in Chemistry or Biochemistry: Established at McDaniel College in 1998 by Dr. Richard H. Smith, Jr., his family, colleagues, friends, and former students. This award is made annually to a graduating senior chemistry or biochemistry major who demonstrates academic distinction, enthusiasm for liberal learning, and excellence in scientific research.
