Here we have the research universities near Chicago (flagships are available under that heading), to see if they are like the University of Illinois Chicago.  Purdue looks good (53%), but figuring its percentage was far more difficult than usual, due to the way its courses are displayed.  The University of Iowa is almost  as strong at 50%.  Michigan State is substantial weaker  at 34% and University of Wisconsin  Milwaukee is very low at 24%, like the big city schools, but not in a big city.  The strength at Purdue and Iowa State is attribuable to their emphasis on engineering.  The University of Illinois Chicago is not an engineering school, but stands out apparently simply due to the importance of Friday to its faculty and/or administration.
