| Junipers or Juniperus |
Junipers have younger branches with scale or awl shaped leaves; branches are
square so that they may be rolled between your fingers.
On older branches the scales develop into more widely spaced sharp pointed leaves
The first two images are what we classified as the leyland juniper ( Juniperus
leylandii) and
the third image we tentatively identifies as the rocky mountain juniper ( Juniperus
) and the fourth as the alligator juniper
Leyland juniper or Cupressocyparis leylandii with its' yellowish color and small scale like leaves with pointed tips arranged at various angles to the shoot and borne at flattened sprays.

(?) Rocky mountain juniper or Juniperus scopulorum with darker green to gray-blue coloration and scale-like leaves

(?) Alligator juniper or Juniperus deppeana .. We choose this
identification due to the leaves being free at the tip and ending in a sharp
point,
and due to a number of the leaves expressing white specks of resin.
