Description: rather large pernenial plant 10-12" with fern-like leaves
Flowers hooded like snapdragons, redish or yellowish in clusters.

Medicinal and other uses: Indians used for stomaches, anemia, heart trouble
currently no known use.

Bloom: April-June in woods from Maine- Florida
