 IDENTIFY AND LABEL

Assessment 1 - Students will draw diagram of a sensory receptor and a brain. Students will label the sensory receptor and the brain identifying the correct sections.

 PUZZLE

Assessment 2 - Each group will create a puzzle (with pieces) that consist of the parts of the brain that control the 5 senses. Puzzle pieces must identify each area of the brain the controls the 5 senses. Students should be able to complete a puzzle from another group.

Materials: tag board, scissors, markers or crayons

FLASH CARDS

Assessement 3- Students will create flash cards. One side of the flash card will have a picture of one of the five senses. The other side of the flash card will have an explanation of the process which each sense has to complete in order to function. Students will use flash cards to quiz each group.
