Students are evaluated on the following products/performances.
1) Models of stomata using balloons, straws and construction paper.
2) Labs- activity 1 and activity 2 to identify the location of the stomata and its functioning.
3) Graphic organizer - students can be asked to make a classification graphic organizer.
4) Tests to assess the students knowledge on the role of stomata in plant processes, their location in plants, their structure etc.
5) Diagram on stomata with correct labelling.
6) Students can be asked to write a letter to their grand mother to convince her to water the plants in her garden either early in the morning or late in evening.
