Duration: 45 minutes
Background Information: Active transport is the movement of molecules or ions across a membrane, but in the opposite direction of diffusion usually occurs. Diffusion occurs when particles move across a membrane reaching a state of equilibrium. However, Active Transport through a membrane needs energy to move large molecules and minerals. All cells in the body have oxygen in them to perform its functions, such as breathing, eating or eliminating waste.
WARM-UP ACTIVITY: Write in complete sentences.
1. What makes a cell membrane a selective membrane?2. What is the difference between osmosis and diffusion?
The teacher expresses her delight with the enthusiasm to class in response to their hard work display this week. As a reward, the class will learn how to make a vegetable salad today. The teacher expects many reactions. At this time, the treater, will choose an assistance. We are going to use the Video Flex Microscope for observation.
